These were really fun to make and they took my mind off of stuff. Hooray! These are a Smitten Kitchen recipe and can be found here. I omitted the raisins cause my cousin doesn’t like them!

My name is Liz, and I’m a college drop out.
Just thought I’d start off this blog with a little bit of brutal honesty. BRILLIANT.
But yes, I decided in November 2010 that community college was eventually going to kill me in one way or another, so I decided not to go back. But I knew that without school, without something stable, I’d end up loafing around all day long. And nobody wants that. Nobody at all.
I’ve enjoyed baking since I knew what an oven was, and the internet has always been kind of my second home (as silly as that sounds). I read a lot of cooking and food blogs already, but it didn’t dawn on me to start blogging myself until I decided to quit school.
I’m launching this blog in hopes that it will challenge me to become a better baker, a better writer, and a better all around person. High hopes, I know.
But I’m pretty awesome.
